The Fiji Society for the Blind was established in the year 1970 by public support led by the Suva Rotary Club, just after Fiji gained its independence.
It is the only full-service non-profit National Agency providing rehabilitation education, training and assistance to people who are blind or partially sighted.
Fijian Prime Minister Hon. Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama officiated at the Fiji Blind Society Golden Jubilee celebrations in Vatuwaqa, Suva on 23rd October, 2020.
